"Great place! Something missing from Locarno! Very nice atmosphere! Nice aperitifs (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), good wine and of course different types of Japanese sake! Within a week we went twice. First time for the sushi / sashimi. The second time we tried the Peking duck; we ordered 1-2 days in advance and it was the first one served in Akira! (I took photos of the duck before it was cut in pieces and prepared for us and of the delicious soup that goes with the menu)! Very well presented and tasted very good! The gelati and the Mochi were just what one needs to complete a nice meal! Very kind, friendly and professional staff! Strongly recommended! Thank you to the team serving us but also the chef including the team behind the scenes!"

"This is hands down the best sushi in Locarno. The fisch is exceptional and the selection of dishes (chinese / japanese) offers something for everyone. Furthermore they have a good selection of wine, sake and cocktails. We will come again!"

"We were looking for a nice lunch by the Locarno lake and we found this amazing gem of a restaurant. Sushi was very fresh and tasty. The ambience was very calm and complementary with the lake. The service was incredible and the icing on the cake. They were very kind and even asked us if the music was to our preferred volume level when we arrived. The food came fast and the staff provided several useful suggestions. We were professionally taken care of. We are very happy of our visit and would definitely come back!"

"Great food, fresh tasty...semi classical but they add their touch which is just a plus. Nice place right on the lake with a super warm friendly and fun, yet professional host. Top marks, will def be back and would advise for a healthy meal in a very pleasant restaurant!"

"We had a really good meal here. The team is really friendly, food is serve a little slow but it's truly delicious! This is from an asian family. Do come and give it a try. We had a good time, not photographed here is tempura ebi - that was our favourite. Oil was so fresh & the tempura was so fluffy. Everything was delicious, we also requested for chilli oil - that was yummy. Sashimis are fresh. Mala tofu - can request for spicy version."
